Friends of nFold,

I concur with the man who said that everything worth knowing in life, he learnt in kindergarten. My granny taught me to knit at the age of four. She was a cross-looking teacher with a heart of gold. But she never had the patience to work out how a left handed person could knit - so I learnt to adapt. Another of her lessons was: knit one, skip one. And in our baking lessons, she taught me to mix in all the ingredients in the right quantities.

These lessons have served nFold well this year. We've been mixing things up in a big way.

And the result is a rapidly growing company doing clever things with software. Not all of our experiments pan out the way we plan - but then we like surprises - and we learnt to adapt early. Our next surprise is that we plan to skip the showcase event this month because next month we're knitting a round table idea with for an elite audience. The fun thing about experimenting with a new recipe is that you feel free to break eggs to make omelettes - or drop a stitch in your knitting without spoiling the grand design.

Focusing on the lighter side of software matters for managers, this newsletter is released every few weeks and should not take more than a minute to read.

Till next time, keep smiling :-)
