Software needs are now being reviewed more often. Most companies in the past reviewed their needs annually. This year, most companies claim to do ongoing re-evaluation.
How often should you re-evaluate your software needs? My opinion is that a formal review of business priorities once a year is fine, as long as there is also a way to address ad hoc needs that may arise during the course of the year.
